Australia-based Height 4 Hire is celebrating its 500th machine with a custom painted pink lift to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation.

The new 14 working height Compact 14 scissor lift was supplied at cost by Haulotte, in support of the McGrath Foundation’s mission to raise money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed.

Height 4 Hire will be contributing 20% of the hire price of the machine, affectionately known as Pinkie, to the McGrath Foundation and hopes to reach a target of AU$15,000 by October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Ken Baker, Height 4 Hire owner, says, “We wanted to celebrate our milestone of 500 machines with something special and also wanted to contribute back to the community that support us. A few of us at Height 4 Hire have been personally affected by Cancer recently, so we are looking for any way to help raise funds towards awareness or services to help those that are suffering from cancer.”

McGrath Foundation has funded 119 McGrath Breast Care Nurses working nationally who, together, have supported more than 60,000 families going through breast cancer.

This is the most recent fundraising effort from Height 4 Hire. In 2015, the company, alongside several other companies including Haulotte, sponsored and participated in a 22.5km hike, which raised over $50,000 towards the McGrath Foundation.
