CSA motor carrier compliance

04 July 2013

The Compliance Safety Accountability (CSA) programme for commercial vehicles in the USA has been fully implemented and the motor carrier industry is starting to see the effects of a CSA intervention. SC&RA said this is best described as a “compliance review.”

In an upcoming SC&RA webinar, Jeff Davis, president of Fleet Safety Services, will discuss the keys to preparation and completion of a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) compliance review of its CSA programme. Taking you beyond the basics of CSA scores, Davis will provide facts every transportation company needs to understand, SC&RA said.

The presentation will also include examples of how CSA scores affect insurance premiums. Davis will cover other legal developments and how to prepare employees for compliance.

Owners, safety managers and drivers will take away valuable information that has the potential to save a company money, SC&RA said.

The webinar will be on 24 July 2013 at 12 Noon US Eastern Time. It is free for SC&RA members and US$49 for non-members. Register for the CSA Motor Carrier Compliance Webinar at: www2.scranet.org/core/events/events.aspx
