Canadian material handling group launched

Starke Material Handling Group has been launched by Canadian Forklift Distributors Limited (CFDL).

The Starke line of products consistes of internal combustion forklifts, AC electric forklifts and industrial, narrow aisle, manual and electric pallet trucks with walkie straddle stackers.

"We're extremely excited about the Starke lineup," said Jim Chesla, CFDL general manager. "CFDL will continue distributing its hugely successful Heli Forklift line, while offering product upgrades in the mid-line Starke professional and top-end Starke elite forklifts."

CFDL has introduced the line to its Candian network of dealers and will introduce it to the US market later in 2010. CFDL said the Heli forklift line will remain as an option for its markets.

The Starke professional line offers improved sightlines and ergnomics with a more maintenance-free design and the Elite line has standard anti-vibration, anti-shock with full suspension seating options for operators. All models have Nissan, GM, Kubota, Cummins, Perkins, Cascade, Curtis, SME and other familiar components.
