Chi Deh adds two mobile Liebherrs

Taiwan-based crane and heavy haulage contractor Chi Deh has updated its fleet with two new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 wheeled mobile cranes.
The long telescopic boom and luffing lattice jib were the main reasons for choosing the 6-axle machine, the company said. The 300 tonne capacity LTM 1300-6.2 can reach a maximum hoisting height of 114 metres. The new cranes replace two previous generation LTM 1300-6.1s.
Han-Yen Hu, Chi Deh owner, said, “We decided on the LTM 1300-6.2 as a result of its high quality, modern technology and flexible boom systems. The telescopic boom is very long at 78 m. With its luffing jib, which is up to 70 m in length, the mobile crane can cover a massive working range.”
The crane has one engine with the ECOmode function and the VarioBase outrigger configuration system to ensure that the mobile crane is particularly economical and flexible, the company said.
Of the forty cranes in the Chi Deh fleet, thirty are Liebherrs. Largest is a 1,200 tonne capacity LTM 11200-9.1. The two new LTM 1300-6.2s will fit in the fleet beween 160 and 500 tonne class models.
