Chris Mellott becomes JLG's vice president of Ground Support

JLG has promoted Chris Mellott to the position of vice president of Ground Support. This is a newly created position and gives Mr Mellott global responsibility for JLG's service centres and aftermarket parts business, including Ground Support strategies, initiatives and business development.

"This new position reflects the emphasis that JLG places on expanding and strengthening Ground Support products and services throughout the lifecycle of our equipment," said Craig Paylor, JLG's president. "I am extremely pleased to promote Chris to this critical position. He has demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities, astute analytical ability and an extraordinary progressive perspective on enhancing customer service."

JLG has also moved responsibility for its service centres and parts distribution operations to Peter Bonafede, senior vice president - operations.
