Condecta to implement Sycor rental system

Swiss rental company Condecta AG is to implement a new rental software system using Sycor Rental and Microsoft Dynamics AX systems.

The Sycor system will be used initially by 80 of Condecta's office and field staff and will also be used by Mobi-Toil, the Swiss toilet rental and events rental business acquired by Condecta last year.

Condecta, based in Winterthur, has annual revenues of over €35 million and employs around 130 people. It rents a wide range of equipment including portable accommodation, toilets, cranes and building equipment.

Sycor, which is headquartered in Göttingen and with offices in the US, Canada, China, Singapore and Malaysia, said the Sycor rental package will help Condecta manage its entire rental and customer service operation, incorporating vehicle tracking and data capture using scanners.

"The company's employees, including field staff with handheld devices, will have access to all relevant project, order and product information at all times", said Sycor. Sycor's implementation partner is Swiss firm Boss Info AX AG, which, like Sycor, is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.

Sycor employs around 300 people and primarily offers Microsoft Dynamics AX and SAP ERP services. With the Microsoft Dynamics AX solution it targets companies in the rental, printing and packaging, process and retail industries. It also serves the financial services sector in Asia and the oil and gas industry in the US.
