Counting down to the 15th ERA Convention 2021

The event will be the first time Europe’s equipment rental industry has gathered since the 2019 ERA Convention in Madrid and, with COVID restrictions in the Netherlands being eased, as many as 300 leading voices from the rental industry and value chain are expected to gather to discuss the latest developments and trends in the industry, as well as to meet, network and learn from each other.
The opening day of the Convention, themed around the topic of ‘Smart Rental’, will start with a presentation of some major ERA deliverables for the industry on sustainability and cybersecurity, before moving on to and exposition of from industry experts on using data to improve the customer experience, transforming a business with digital technology and the impact of the digital transformation on rental.
The first day will conclude with the European Rental Awards Cocktail and Dinner, celebrating creativity, innovation and excellence in the European equipment rental industry.
The second day of the Convention will begin with a preview of the 2021 ERA Market Report, with the latest market data on the current state of the industry and its prospects as we emerge from the pandemic, followed by the workshops from the Promotion, Technical and Sustainability Committees and the Future Group. Renowned neuroscientist Dr Henning Beck will give the keynote speech at the end of the second day, before a closing address by ERA President Pierre Boels.

ERA is regularly monitoring the sanitary situation in the Netherlands. For now, visitors to the Netherlands who want to attend an event should use their EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC) for this purpose. If they don’t have a DCC, they will need a negative test result to attend.
