Logo and details of ESTA Awards 2021 event The 2021 ESTA Awards and Market Update is an online event on 22 April

The judges have done their work and the companies who have been shortlisted for the 2021 ESTA Awards of Excellence can now be revealed.

A good number of entries were received for this year’s European Association of Abnormal Road Transport and Mobile Cranes (ESTA) Awards.

From all the eligible entries a maximum of four finalists are shortlisted in each of the ten categories. The 31 selected this year were chosen from a much larger group of entries, once again showing how the awards have become a major pan-European event.

The winners will be announced in an online event on 22 April. More information on this appears in this story after the shortlist. Without further ado, here are the shortlisted companies by award category:

The online format for the awards event, first seen during last year’s ESTA event, will again combine the announcement of the winners of the ESTA Awards of Excellence with a market webinar addressing some of the key issues facing the crane and specialized transport sector.

The awards will be announced during three, separate ‘award segments’ between speakers who will address different aspects of the market.

The speakers are as follows:

Opening address: David Collett

President, ESTA

Keynote speech: Jens Ennen

Tadano Demag and Tadano Faun

TOPIC: World crane market and the post-Covid landscape

Moritz Dickmann

Nöpel Group

TOPIC: Implications of reforms to VEMAGS transport permits

Garrick Nisbet

Notus Heavy Lift

TOPIC: Update on heavy lift & transport activities at Hinkley Point C

Conclusion: Ton Klijn

Director, ESTA.

We are unable to meet in person again this year, but we will still celebrate the achievements of our industry. The market presentations will meanwhile provide valuable insights into business conditions and opportunities.
