Three Falcon 290 spider lifts on wheels have been delivered to Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi.

Designed by Jean Nouvel, the new Louvre Museum was constructed in Abu Dhabi, in the UAE. The breathtaking building features a dome 180m in diameter and a unique spider web design that allows the sun to filter through.

The three Black Widow spiders, so called by the company due to the customer’s request that they should all be painted black, are equipped with Falcon Lifts’ remote service tool access. The tool, which is standard on most Falcon models, enables access via a GSM connection to monitor use and provide diagnostic data for analysis and trouble shooting.

Worldwide travel restrictions during 2020 and 2021 have challenged the usual on-site product training and handover from Falcon Lifts. Instead, the Danish company now arranges virtual training for operators and remote technical support from qualified technicians.
