First Hinowa TeleCrawler13 pictures

14 August 2020

Pictures are now available of Hinowa’s TeleCrawler13 - the first tracked aerial platform to offer full direct electric drive.

The electric track motors used on the TeleCrawler13 have an IP67 protection factor, meaning the machine can work in muddy and dusty environments. The absence of any hydraulic oil in the translation system also eliminates the risk of leakage.

Other features of the 13m working height compact model, which is powered by lithium batteries, include automatic control of the telescopic boom and go home and go back functions. Without the basket it measures just 3,695mm in length, 1,947mm in height and 748mm in width. Moreover, the stabilisation area reduces to 2450mm x 2901mm, smaller than a single parking space. The company plans to expand the TC electric driven series with further models.

See AI’s feature about electric/hybrid access equipment in the July-August 2020 issue of the magazine, including more details about Hinowa’s approach to lithium batteries and the industry’s move towards alternative fuel sources.
