Construction contractor Bygg in Iceland has taken delivery of the first Potain Hup self erecting tower crane in the country.

The first Manitowoc Potain Hup 32-27 in Iceland for Bygg

The 4 tonne capacity Hup 32-27 went to a job site in Reykjavik to build a residential development. It has radio remote control and reaches a 32 metre maximum radius.

Iceland Manitowoc dealer Kraftvélar sold the crane to Bygg. Other cranes in the Bygg fleet include two Potain Igo 36 self erecting cranes and a Potain MD 125 A city tower crane. The company was set up in 1984 and has 215 employees.
