Rototilt says it has taken fully automatic quick couplers to “the next level” after winning a German Innovation Award for its QuickChange product.

Rototilt wins German Innovation Award

The German Innovation Award is awarded to solutions that provide long-term impact and added value for the user and Rototilt was recognised in the Machines and Engineering category.

The Sweden-based company said that not having to leave the excavator cab to replace hydraulic tools both saves time and increases safety, with marketing and sales manager Per Vappling commenting: “The prize is confirmation that QuickChange is taking fully automatic quick coupler systems to the next level with several unique innovations.”

Features of the product include integrated hydraulic couplings and a nose seal that minimises the risk of leakage.

Rototilt has already won an Innovation Award in the same category for its SecureLock solution, which is integrated as standard throughout the QuickChange system.
