Haki takes quality award

Systems scaffolding manufacturer Haki AB in Sweden received the International Star Award for Quality (in the Gold category) from the Business Initiative Directions (BID) at the 32nd International Star for Quality event in October.

The award recognises commitment to quality for companies in top areas of industrial production, and Haki was one of companies from 42 countries around the world honoured. Pictured at the awards ceremony in Geneva are Bernard Podlinski, direct export manager for Haki (right), and Jose E. Prieto, president and chief executive officer of BID.

“The awarded companies are symbols of commitment to leadership, technology and innovation, which make them models for other companies of their sectors,” said Mr Prieto. BID is based in Madrid, Spain and promotes its QC 100 Total Quality Management technology and process in 173 countries.
