06 December 2021

Swedish rental company Lambertsson has launched Lambertsson Control, a climate-efficient digital monitoring platform for construction sites.

Lambertsson Control.

The tool is designed to reduce the climate footprint of sites while ensuring “sustainable profitability.”

Jesper Mårtensson, vice president at Lambertsson, said, “Better control over energy use at the construction site avoids unnecessary costs while reducing the climate footprint.”

He added that the platform can also be used to “measure everything that there is a sensor for” to reduce the risk of operational and production disruptions.

Meanwhile supporting digital platform Lambertsson Online enables the visualisation and tracking of behaviour and emissions and operational efficiencies for customers.

The company said test projects carried out to date “have received a very good response.”

“Customers have had data delivered in real time and been able to adapt production, which has resulted in both lower energy use and fewer operational disruptions.”

Workplace safety is cited as another benefit. Lambertsson Control can measure and remedy the levels of fine quartz dust particles, as well as other pollutants.
