Development work has started on a 350 tonne telescopic wheeled mobile crane at Liebherr-Werk Ehingen in Germany.

The new six axle model will replace the 300 tonne capacity LTM 1300-6.1, also on six axles, that has been available since 1999. It will have a 70 m boom with the Y-pattern guying system for extra lifting capacity.

Look out on www.khl.com and in International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine for more information on this crane and others in development as it becomes available.
