Brian Smoot, product manager, rough terrain cranes

Crane manufacturer Link-Belt in the USA has promoted Brian Smoot to the position of product manager, rough terrain cranes.

Smoot will be responsible for rough terrain cranes, co-ordination of product activities and guide new product development, a company spokesperson said.

Prior to the appointment Smoot was a product specialist. He began his career at Link-Belt in 2007 where he was part of the product support organisation.

Pat Collins, Link-Belt director, product marketing, said, “Brian’s product knowledge, product development experience and strong history of interaction with our distributor and customer base, make him the logical choice to lead the ongoing advancement of our rough terrain cranes, worldwide.”
