Lots new from Ranger including PB Liftechnik dealership

UK access specialist Ranger has chosen the Vertikal Days show to reveal its new marketing strategy; unveil its latest distribution deal with PB Liftechnik and show new equipment from its established suppliers.
Ranger Equipment specialises in sales of Teupen tracked spiderlifts, Dino Lift trailer mounts and self-propelled boom platforms, and Aichi scissor and boom lifts. The company says that with the addition of the PB Liftechnik scissor range, it is repositioning itself as the UK's leading specialist in the sale of premium access and niche platform solutions.
New equipment on show include: the Leo 13GT, an entry level tracked spiderlift from Teupen: the SR14CJ, the first of the tracked boom models from Aichi's new ‘Global Line' and the S225-12ES, the largest scissor in PB Liftechnik's ES range of electric scissors.
Teupen's Leo 13GT is a lower cost model designed to stimulate interest from the tool hire market and from smaller trades. It has a 200 kg basket capacity at its 13 m working height and maximum outreach of approximately 7 m. The platform can fit through a single doorway, has a detachable basket and weighs just 1500 kg. Non-marking tracks and self-levelling stabilisers are standard.
The ‘Global Line' models from Aichi are designed for the world market so are certified to CE, ANSI and other applicable worldwide standards. The SR14CJ has a telescopic boom and articulating jib, it provides 13.6 m working height, 12.7 m outreach and up to 250 kg platform capacity.
PB Liftechnik has been manufacturing scissor lifts in Germany for 30 years but more recently has started to focus on export business. The company's latest innovation is the ES range of self-levelling, battery-run, electric scissors with working heights from 13 m to 22.5 m. Ranger Equipment will be unveiling the S225-12ES, the largest model, which still maintains a very narrow width of just 1.2m.
Notable features, include a platform capacity of 450 kg, self-levelling stabilisers, driveability at full height, and full outdoor rating. The machines' low weight of 10290 kg and their short length of 4.49m combine to make them very manoeuvrable.
Ranger is also using Vertikal Days to launch its new corporate identity and discus the facilities at its new premises.
Vertikal Days takes place at Haydock Park Racecourse, Merseyside, UK on 24 and 25 June.
