KHL Group has made changes to its senior management team including the creation of a three-person Executive Group.

Trevor Pease, previously President and Publisher of KHL Group Americas, becomes Chief Operating Officer of KHL Worldwide, and Paul Baker, who was Finance Director, will be Chief Financial Officer.

Trevor Pease, COO, KHL Group.

Both will work with company founder and CEO James King as part of the Executive Group.

King said the new structure and the appointments would help the company as it continued to transition from a traditional publishing company to being a multi-media group embracing print magazines, events, market research, recruitment, data and digital media.

“KHL has experienced phenomenal growth over the past twenty years with rapid expansion in North and South America, China, live events and more”, he said. “Through this period we have essentially retained the same flat management structure we had when the company was just 20% of the size it is now, which has served us well.

Paul Baker, CFO, KHL Group.

“With the Covid crisis prompting an accelerated change in the way people consume information and the way brands want to engage with their customers, KHL now needs to fast-track its response to these changes.

“With their experience, ability and motivation, I believe the new structure and senior roles for Trevor and Paul will continue and hasten KHL’s transformation into a modern, innovative, multi-media company. I offer my personal congratulations to them both for this richly-deserved promotion.”
