Manitou has new COO

Christian Caleca has joined Manitou as chief operations officer, a new position. Mr Caleca now leads the company's industrial, domestic and international commercial, purchasing and logistics, and quality departments, as well as its research and development activities.

For ten years previously Mr Caleca was vice-president of the Swedish company Trelleborg Group, a global supplier of industrial polymer products. There he headed several business units.
