NCC has announced plans to fully acquire asphalt and road building company Valtatie Oy. It currently owns 50% of the company in partnership with Colas.

The company says that if the deal is approved, its Finnish asphalt production and road building division, NCC Roads Oy, will have annual sales of about SEK 950 million (€ 100 million), representing about a 20% share of the market.

The transaction value has not been disclosed, and it is subject to the approval of the Finnish Competition Authority (FCA). NCC says this could take up to six months.
