A. Soulis Enterprises Ltd. takes charge of its new LTM 11200-9.1 at the Liebherr-Werk Ehingen production plant in Germany

A. Soulis Enterprises Ltd. has taken ownership of a new 1,200 tonne capacity Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 telescopic wheeled mobile crane.

Based in the port city of Larnaca, south-east Cyprus, A. Soulis is one of the region's largest crane service providers and is keen to meet the growing demand for wind energy in Greece. According to Liebherr, wind turbine plants are being erected in large numbers in the country.

"The LTM 11200-9.1 is precisely the right crane for installations with towers of 80 to 100 metres in height. It is particularly economical for these kinds of operations, and that means we can be particularly competitive too," said Andreas Soulis, managing director.

Equipped with a 100 m telescopic boom, Y-guying system, and fixed jib, the LTM 11200-9.1 can lift up to 94 tonnes to a hook height of 89 m, and up to 76 tonnes to a height of 107 m.

A. Soulis will not only use the LTM 11200-9.1 for wind power projects in Greece, but also for heavy lift operations on the international market.

The company operates 20 mobile cranes with lifting capacities from 20 to 300 tonnes. With a workforce of 40 people, some 70% of turnover comes from crane operations, while 30% comes from transport services.
