Demag Cranes & Components has opened a new facility in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia.

The new facility will provide services that include 24-7 breakdown support, repair and spare parts for Demag and other overhead lifting equipment to the North Queensland region.

Joerg Stojan, managing director of Demag Cranes & Components, said the addition of the Townsville office will help the company further improve its offering, not only in the manufacture and supply of equipment but, also, with ongoing regular service, maintenance and recertification for continued safe use of customers’ equipment.

Demag Cranes & Components is part of Terex Group and its Australian headquarters is in Smithfield, Sydney.
