Peri's new scaffolding training facility covers 2000 sq m.

In March 2009, Germany's Peri openned a new 2000 m2 training centre for scaffold technology at its headquarters in Weissenhorn.

The so-called FBZ II is designed to complement the adjacent hall of the same size, which was built in 1994, and accommodates the demand for further specialised training in all areas of scaffolding applications for scaffold construction companies, building contractors and industrial customers.

Alexander Schwörer, Peri's managing director said, "The demand for initial and advanced training has risen strongly and, because we receive an ever increasing number of corresponding requests from our customers, it was time to take this next step."

He explained that the demand for training was due not only to the world-wide increase in requirements placed on scaffold construction but also the numerous improvements and further developments in scaffold construction technology through Peri.

"Our systems are particularly well-engineered; with the suggestions put forward by our specialists, we enable users to work even more efficiently."

The new permanent exhibition presents the complete PERI scaffold product range and generously-sized assembly areas are available for practical applications.

The plan is to give seminar and workshop programme participants experience of all Peri scaffolding systems at first hand.
