Result Group to show iPad application at ERA convention

Rental software company Result Group will premiere a rental management application for Apple's new iPad device at the upcoming European Rental Association (ERA) convention on 26-27 May in Prague.

Touchscreens have been standard on Result's rentalresult software for five years and mobile devices like the iPhone have been in common use over the past few years.

However, Result said these have been "restricted in their use because of their size. The beauty of the iPad is that it re-defines the methodologies of remote working and introduces exciting capabilities for rental companies.

Result said that it will make it much easier for employees to retrieve equipment schematics and service history, raise work orders and complete rental contracts on the move and in real time.

The company will demonstrate the iPad e-commerce solution at the Prague convention, and visitors who leave their business cards will be entered in a prize draw to win an iPad.

The draw for the device will be made on the Result Group stand at 1.30pm on Thursday 27 May.
