The 40 ton (36 tonne) boom truck was sold by New England Sales Rep, Chester Zerrilloto to Rusty Williams of Rig-All Inc

New York, USA-based Rig-All has acquired a new Manitex 40124SHL boom truck from Empire Crane.

The 40 ton (36 tonne) capacity boom truck has a 124 feet (38 metre) five section telescopic boom, a one piece 31 feet (9.4 metre) jib, and boom length and angle indicators. Further features include four radio remote control hydraulic out and down outriggers, audible outriggers and stabiliser motion alarm and operator seated pilot controls.

The crane is mounted on a Kenworth T-800 chassis with a 485 hp (at 1,800 rpm) diesel engine and comes complete with aluminium Alcoa rims, air tanks, and rails.

The Manitex 40124SHL’s first job will be to erect an 8,000 square foot log cabin.
