The Terex 40 tonne capacity TC 40 L and its larger brother the 60 tonne TC 60 L, both built at the PPM plant in France, were launched in 2006 in response to demand from the European market. At its core lies a MAN engine with 240 kW, which makes it possible to reach a top speed of 90 km/h, said Terex. An additional advantage is that MAN is represented by numerous service stations worldwide, meaning that the crane has optimal servicing conditions. Standard truck tyres can be used on the vehicle.

"The crane can be used with great flexibility on the most diverse construction sites," adds the company.
