One of five transformers moved by Fox Brasil Project Logistics

Fox Brasil Project Logistics was responsible for an extensive scope of work on a power station capacity expansion project in Brazil.

The Heavy Lift Group member for Brazil provided engineering planning, heavy lift transport and discharge of five power transformers and accessories. Largest of the five weighed 204 tonnes and measured 10.8 x 4.6 x 5.1 metres. The smaller ones were 134 tonnes and 8.4 x 3.6 x 4.8 metres.

In addition to the heavy lift road transportation, Fox Brasil was responsible for complete management of the communication flow among stakeholders. It also handled the discharge onto the base with positioning on foundations and assembly works. Domestic insurance cover was also provided.
