Zeppelin Rental recently provided a wide range of construction and access equipment, as well as designing and implementing a three-storey viewing tower, for the 2013 X Games extreme sports event.

Held at the Olympic Stadium in Munich from June 27 to 30, the event attracted more than 100,000 spectators as skateboarders, BMX riders, mountain bike riders and motorcyclists showed off their skills.

German rental firm Zeppelin Rental was contracted to supply construction machinery and access equipment, as well as crowd barriers, fencing and floodlights.

In total, 60 pieces of equipment were supplied, along with 4 km of fencing and 2 km of barriers.

Zeppelin Rental was also charged with design and build of a three-storey viewing tower, with glazed front and a large terrace, which accommodated VIP guests, athletes and organisers, as well as media.
