All Crane Rental of Pennsylvania replaced large-scale boiler parts to help restore power at a plant in the US state.

Access to the boiler was restricted, meaning the company’s 400 tonne capacity Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 telescopic wheeled mobile crane had to be placed in a hole immediately adjacent to the building.

Following nine months of planning, it took more than a week to assemble the crane with the assistance of a 130 US ton (116 tonne) rough terrain crane. The LTM 1400’s jib had to be landed on a fifth-floor level of the building and assembled there. The crane was configured with 186 feet (57 m) boom and 151 feet (46 m) luffing jib. A Y-guy boom suspension super lift attachment provided extra capacity.
