A look at the Enerpac Customer Experience Days

In what I can only compare to the Santa’s Workshop of modern-day machinery, the newly opened Enerpac Tool Center offers direct access to purchase and rent tools, training, application support, tool specification, tool maintenance and repair and calibration at a local level with access to products 365 days a year.

The hands-on calibration center offers a better understanding of Enerpac products.

Following a grand opening to the public in September 2022, Enerpac invited industry members near and far to check out the newest location in Deer Park, just outside of Houston, TX on November 7, 8 and 9th. With 85 customers visiting the Tool Center throughout the week, the location offers valuable proximity to the booming industrial oil and gas sector of Texas, along with the Port of Houston.

“The main intent was to expose our customers to our full breadth of products and highlight our capability to offer product demonstrations, training, service and rental,” said Pete Crisci, commercial manager Americas, heavy lifting technology, Enerpac. “Customers don’t have to wait for the next experience days to visit us. We are always happy to receive customers at our location to discuss their needs.”

As an attendee of the event, ACT was treated to an in-depth warehouse tour, which highlighted the Enerpac Training Academy, and a plethora of hands-on opportunities to test out tools, operate machinery and get any question answered by the company’s team of experts.

The Enerpac EMLS/EMV series battery-powered machine skates safely and remotely position loads of up to 55 tons.

I even had a chance to try my hand at operating the company’s battery-powered machine skates via remote control.

A 24-7 tradeshow

“What we want to do here is bring you in, let you see the wall of applications and all the different products we offer to open up to all the different things we can do for you, and services we can provide,” said Scott Blair, Americas rental director, Enerpac. “Whether internal customers or external customers, we want you to be able to see, touch, feel and be trained right in this facility.”

The facility, dubbed as a “24-7 tradeshow,” is also equipped with the Enerpac Academy training room and calibration center. Courses are interactive, and students benefit from a diverse program designed to share product knowledge, technical features and applications. The Enerpac Academy room is open to anyone and offers a better understanding of Enerpac products.
