A-Plant acquires accommodation fleet

UK rental company A-Plant has expanded its Accommodation business with a deal to take on contractor NG Bailey’s fleet.

The company said it had acquired NG Bailey’s portable accommodation fleet, and at the same time had agreed to become the sole supplier of this product range to NG Bailey. This rental agreement will be in place for three years.

A-Plant Accommodation provides specialises in portable accommodation rental, from site welfare units to a complete contractors’ village, boasting a fleet of over 16000 units.

A-Plant director of Accommodation Ian Needham said, “We are delighted with this agreement, their fleet complements our existing products perfectly, combined with our extended range and national coverage we’re able to offer a first-rate portable accommodation service to NG Bailey.”

And NG Bailey offsite manufacture general manager Graham Cleland added, “We are delighted to partner with A-Plant Accommodation, who impressed us with their customer focused ethos and their ability to meet our stringent health and safety requirements.

“In addition, the extensive product range offered, dedicated national service centre network and expertise meant that A-Plant was a natural fit, and I am confident they will help support us and our customers on engineering and construction projects across the UK.”
