06 October 2016

UK rental company A-Plant has continued to expand its Tool Hire Express and FLG Services division with a new location in Burton-on-Trent.

Tool Hire Express specialises in offering customers rapid access to tools and other equipment for construction or DIY work, while FLG Services offers a wide range of specialist equipment for hire or purchase, for trade people working in sectors such as construction, industry and warehousing.

It also offers other services such as technical site surveys and the repair, testing and calibration of customers’ own lifting equipment.

The company said the centrally located Burton-on-Trent store has been fully stocked with brand new equipment, including power tools, tower scaffolds, wallpaper strippers, concreting equipment, gardening and landscaping equipment, pressure washers, carpet cleaners, heaters, consumables, personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats and high-vis jackets, and more.

Tom Hall, Service Manager said, “We’re really excited to have opened a new Tool Hire Express store in Burton-on-Trent. Although we are a national hire company, we pride ourselves on offering a high quality, reliable, local service and we’ve employed a local team creating five new jobs.

“The new store is located in the centre of the town, so it’s highly accessible for walk-in trade, plus there is ample on-site parking allowing customers to quickly park on-site and collect equipment. We’ve also got a modern transport fleet so we can also deliver equipment within a matter of minutes to customers should they require a delivery and collection service.”
