UK rental firm A-Plant is to have a one-day machinery sale of ex-hire equipment on 5 December 2012.

More than 1000 pieces will go under the hammer at the sale, set to take place at the Euro Auctions site near Leeds.

Lots will include excavators, dumpers, compressors, access equipment, loaders and mini excavators.

The clearance sale is part of an overall re-investment programme by A-Plant into its UK stock, following the signing of large contracts requiring new equipment and machinery.

Jonnie Keys, general manager of Euro Auctions, said; "Not since March 2009, when A-Plant last held a sale of this kind, has so many pieces of A-Plant equipment been offered for sale at one time.

"At that last sale there was massive interest from the industry and we are expecting no difference on 5 December. Euro Auctions will be marketing this sale on a global basis and are expecting good internet activity.”

Interested buyers can bid in person at the auction site, online via Euro Auction's internet bidding service, or by placing an absentee bid. The auctrion takes place at Euro Auctions site at Kellington, near Goole, Leeds, UK.
