Advance Scaffold S11211This Australian company will be presenting its range of aluminium scaffold products, and its mobile scaffold tower in particular. This offers a tube wall thickness of 2.6mm that provides longer service life, 48.6mm outside diameter tube that adapt standard scaffold fittings and jacks, 500mm transom centres. 1 metre and 1.5 metre frame incorporates guard rail and are available in widths of 700mm, 1200mm, 1800mm, 2400mm and 3000mm. The company will also be displaying its aluminium scaffold boards and its aluminium system scaffold products.

Altec Industries G168While concentrating on displaying its new truck crane range, Altec nevertheless will also be providing information on its ranges of truck mounts designed for the utility sector, including non-insulated and insulated booms.

Bil-Jax Inc C4525Since 1947 Bil-Jax has become a leading US manufacturer of steel frame scaffolding and accessories, system scaffolding and adjustable crank up scaffolds. Bil-Jax has also developed a line of high quality aerial lifts and is introducing two new trailer mounts first presented at ARA at the show. Hydraulic dropdeck equipment trailers will also be on display as well.

ICUEE (International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition) L3353 September 27-29th, 2005 will see the ICUEE trade show in Louisville, Kentucky. This event is specifically for the electricity, sewer/water, construction, phone/cable, gas, government, and landscaping sectors. Attendees will be able to operate the equipment to provide the ultimate in competitive comparisons. Information on exhibitors and attending the event will be available at ConExpo.

Intervect USA, Inc. G166 Alimak will be showcasing its new Scando 650 single or twin car configuration modular hoist that can be adapted for different applications using relatively few modular components. The 650 offers capacities of 1500-3000 kg per car (3300-6600 lb) and a standard maximum height of 400 m (1312 ft), although greater heights can be reached. Maximum free-standing height is 32 m (98 ft). Maximum travel speed is 65 m/min (214 ft/min), and the company claims that it uses up to 40 % less power than previous Scando models. Its new mast design, the A-50, is lighter than previous units while allowing the Scando to climb higher without additional reinforcement.

Elliot Equipment G230 Elliott will be highlighting its HiReach and SkyWalk material-handling aerial workplatforms from 30 to 158 ft (6 to 48 m) as well as boom trucks with capacities from 10 to 32 tons in a variety of lengths and mounting configurations; and its VersiPlacer material-handling concrete-pumping booms.

Genie Industries S540 The highlight of the Genie stand will be the Z-135 135 ft (41.2 m) articulated boom launched at ARA, as well as a Z-45/25 articulated unit and the S-65 telescopic boom. The company will also be showing off its scissor products in the shape of the GS-5390 rough terrain machine and the electric GS-1930 and GS-2668. A TZ-34 trailer mount will also be on the stand

Haulotte G330 Haulotte will be introducing two new products to the North American construction industry in the shape of its HA 100 JRT articulated boom and the Star 13 vertical mast platform. These machines have been available in the European market for some time, although under different (metric) model designations. The HA 100, the biggest in the Haulotte range, has a working height of 105 ft (32 m) with an outreach of 70 ft (21.3 m) and features four wheel steer and 45% gradeability. The Star 13 has a working height of 19.6 ft (6 m) and has been designed for use in confined spaces.

JLG G270 On show will be the trailer mounts launched at the ARA show, the 35 ft (10.6 m) platform height T350 and the 50 ft (15.2 m) platform height T500. In addition, other machines from the company's lines of powered access equipment and telescopic handlers will also be on show. JLG branded Toucan vertical masts will be on the stand as well as the first Liftlux scissor produced since the latter's acquisition by JLG. This will be an 80 ft (24.4 m) model. AI understands that the machines will be produced at the Maasmechelen plant in Europe, and will be available first in Europe rather than the USA.

Manitou North America Inc G314 On display will be Manitou's entire range of rough terrain forklift trucks. Telehandlers will include compacts to rotating models and a new range of 6,000 and 8,000 lb construction telescopic handlers. Many can be fitted with personnel baskets and jib/basket combinations to provide a powered access solution. The company's range of Mani-Access self-propelled booms are currently not available in North America.

MEC Aerial Platform Sales Corp. C7273 On show at ConExpo will be three new electric scissor lifts from MEC: the 3247ES, a mid-wide modelc, the 2633ES, a mid-narrow machine, and the 1932ES, a small electric. The MEC 2633ES is a versatile, mid-sized narrow electric scissor lift that will be well suited for maneuvering through narrow aisles and doorways. The roll-out deck extends easily with incremental locking positions. The MEC small electrics are being marketed in two working heights: the 1932ES extends to 25 ft (7.6m). and the MEC 1532ES extends to a 21 ft (6.4 m). working height.

Scaninter Nokia G470 Manufacture, marketing and sales of Scanclimber mast climbing work platforms and construction hoists. The highlight on the stand will be the SC5000 mast climber.

Skyjack Inc G350 Skyjack will be displaying models from its full range of scissor lifts. Representative models from its compact, conventional and rough terrain scissor lift product lies will be on show. These will consist of the following models: 3219 compact; 3226, 4626, 4632 conventionals; 7135, 8243 mid size rough terrains and 8841, 9250 full size rough terrains. In addition, Skyjack will be showing reconditioned models in the shape of a 7027 scissor and a 33N boom.

Snorkel International G416 Manufacturer of self-propelled aerial work platforms-boom lifts, scissor lifts and towable platforms. The company also offers an extensive range of refurbished equipment. Representative models from its telescopic and articulated booms, electric and rough terrain scissors will be on show at ConExpo.

Sunbelt Rentals S11611 US rental subsidiary of the UK's Ashtead Group that offers a wide range of general construction equipment, including a substantial fleet of scissors, booms and trailers. The company will be highlighting the capabilities it offers to customers large and small.

Time Manufacturing Co. G332 Utility mount specialist Time Manufacturing will be displaying its CONDOR 170-S with 170 ft (52 m) of working height and the CTA-104-I whose short jacking capability allows the platform to operate over one side of the truck without requiring the operator to fully extend the out and down outriggers on the opposite side. Also on display will be the Versalift VST-6000 articulating, telescoping aerial and VO-40-MHI articulating, material handling aerial units.

United Rentals Inc. G364 US rental giant that will be exhibiting the full range of its rental offerings. With more than 700 branches across the US and in excess of 600 types of equipment available for rent, including a large AWP fleet, United can supply everything from excavators to hand tools.

UpRight International G457 UpRight will be showing a number of machines representing its full range of self propelled access equipment, as well as elements from its aluminium scaffold products. On show will be the 12 M-Lift and 25 V-lift vertical masts, 1930 and 2632 X-Lift scissors and the new 46J articulated boom launched at Bauma. UpRight will also be using the event to relaunch its Speed Level range under the GL Ground Leveler name

Wing Enterprises N2680 US ladder manufacturer, whose product ranges include the Little Giant Ladder and Little Jumbo Safety Steps. The Little Giant Ultra-Lite is a Type 1A ladder rated at 300lbs that uses a special non-conductive resin that allows the ladder to be lighter and stronger than conventional fibreglass. The Little Giant Ultra-Lite comes in 17 ft (5 m) and 22 ft (6.7 m) lengths.
