Access Link gets new members

17 March 2008

The UK alliance of small to medium sized access rental companies, the Access Link, welcomed two new members at its most recent meeting in early August.

The new joiners are Lifterz from Yorkshire and Charles Wilson Engineers, a rental company with operations in London, Liverpool, Manchester and the South East. The organisation now has a total combined access fleet of 3800 self–propelled and truck mounted units located throughout the UK.

The meeting was held at IPAF's headquarters and members were given presentations on IPAF training and also IPAF's Rental+ quality scheme for rental companies. “All members present were members of IPAF and were keen to obtain the IPAF Rental Plus quality status”, said Tony Mort, secretary of the Link and managing director of member AJ Access.
