Australian Crane & Machinery delivers six ACM-105SP insulated EWP hi-rail platforms to New South

Australian Crane & Machinery (ACM) has completed a six-unit order for 10.5 m fully insulated overhead maintenance aerial units for the New South Wales Rail Corp.

The ACM-105SP insulated EWP hi-rail platforms offer an 800 kg capacity deck with a maximum operation radius of 6.6 m. A remote control system enables full truck operation from the basket.

The units, designed and assembled at the ACM plant in Melbourne, were delivered at the end of 2012.

ACM is now working on completing an order for two 20 m units for Yarra Trams in Melbourne. The hi-rail mounted platforms will have high voltage insulated booms and decks for live line operation.
