Steven Nadelman, president and chief operating officer of Acme Lift Co., has left the company to pursue other opportunities in the construction equipment rental industry, including consulting work, said Woody Weld, Acme’s chairman and chief executive officer.

A new president and COO has yet to be named.

Nadelman spent 19 years with United Rentals and its predecessor, US Rentals, rising from a division manager to senior vice president of operations in 2008, when he directed United Rentals' operations across the western United States, Canada and Mexico.

“Acme has retained Steve as a consultant to assist the company in the future,” Weld said. “Acme thanks Steve for the many contributions he made during his two years as a company executive and wishes him all the best in his new work.” Also, as of Dec. 31, 2012, Nadelman will no longer be associated with Allied Crane & Machinery, Weld said.
