Adrian Bolton, Alimak Hek veteran, passes away

27 June 2017

It is with enormous regret that we report the untimely passing of Adrian Bolton, the long-time Alimak Hek employee. Adrian died following a motorcycle accident in the UK at the weekend.

Over his 28 year career with Alimak and then Alimak Hek, Adrian had become one of the hoist industry’s most knowledgeable, respected and popular figures.

Cameron Reid, Project Director at Alimak Hek Group, said the mood at Alimak Hek was extremely sombre, with colleagues and friends trying to come to terms with the loss, and remembering a warm, enthusiastic and knowledgeable colleague.

Adrian began working with Alimak in April 1989 as Construction Manager. At the start of 2014 he took on the role of Construction Sales Manager for Western Europe and Africa for Alimak Hek Group. His technical and product expertise was recognised late last year when he became Alimak Hek Group’s Global Product Manager.

Adrian had also played an important part in IPAF’s mast climbing activities, serving as Vice Chair of its International MCWP Committee.

Access International extends its sincere condolences to Adrian’s family, friends and colleagues.

More information to follow, including details of the funeral when available.
