AFI appoints subsidiary managing director

Graham Hawkins is new Hampshire Plant & Access managing director

Powered access specialist AFI Group has appointed a new managing director for its subsidiary rental company Hampshire Plant & Access (HPA).

Graham Hawkins, who takes on the newly created role, will be responsible for HPA’s rental operations and for delivering the company’s growth plans.

David McNicholas, Group CEO said: “Graham has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and he has made a real success of his appointment as HPA Sales Director. This promotion is a natural progression.

“We will support him to deliver a growth strategy and expansion plans including more locations and wider coverage for HPA into 2020 and we are excited by the potential growth opportunities in HPA.”

According to AFI, he will work closely with the group’s other UK rental management teams and will expand coverage for its specialist powered access and plant-hire fleet.

Hawkins takes on the role with immediate effect.
