AFI Direct gets new customer services manager

UK rental company AFI-Uplift has appointed Les Wood as customer services manager of AFI Direct.

AFI Direct is the operation for customers who hire machines nationally and put all their hire requirements through one central point.

Mr Wood has joined AFI after more than 25 years working in customer service roles in the construction industry. Reporting to AFI director Nick Higgins, he is working closely with the company's Regional Operations Managers on a series of customer service initiatives.

"These initiatives are designed to increase customer service standards," said Mr Wood,"not only for AFI Direct Customers but also throughout the AFI depot network."
