UK powered access rental firm AFI-Uplift (AFI) has promoted Steve Williams and Pete Wajner to its board of directors as part of a senior management team restructuring, which the firm claims will enable it to capitalise on opportunities in the market as they arise.

Mr Williams takes on responsibility for all of AFI’s UK rental activities. He previously held the post of Northern Regional operations manager. He has spent six years with AFI and 13 years in the powered access sector.

Mr Wajner, who was previously national sales manager, will assume responsibility for all of AFI’s UK sales activities. He has been with AFI for over 10 years and has over 15 years’ experience in powered access.

As part of the restructuring, some of AFI’s existing directors will take on slightly different responsibilities. Richard Saunders will focus his attention on developing AFI’s resale business and new business opportunities. Graham Osmond will focus on developing key accounts and major prospects across all of AFI’s business activities. Nick Higgins will assume full responsibility for all of AFI’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) affairs, in addition to other responsibilities.
