Crawler crane specialist AGD has taken on the UK and Ireland distributorship for Sennebogen cranes. It takes over from former dealer EH Hassell and Sons with immediate effect.

On offer from AGD will be the German-made Sennebogen ranges of lattice boom cranes from 40 to 300 tonnes, telescopic boom models from 8 to 80 tonnes capacity and the duty cycle series from 30 to 200 tonnes.

AGD said it will offer parts and service for existing Sennebogen customers. “We are committed to the Sennebogen product and will be investing in machines for our rental fleet in the near future. A parts stock order will be placed with Sennebogen shortly,” said Robert Law, AGD managing director.

“We plan to ‘hit the road’ and see all the major customers over the next few months and, hopefully, very soon we will be seeing a few more machines in the market,” Law continued.

In addition to its crawler crane rental business, AGD is distributor for the range of mobile cranes from Italian manufacturer Marchetti, an arrangement that will continue as there is little crossover, Law said. AGD discontinued its distribution of crawler cranes from Japanese manufacturer IHI some time ago.
