High Set Tecno, Finnish manufacturer of the small Leguan Lift platforms, has entered the scissor market with an 8 m working height, rough terrain scissor lift with hydraulic outriggers. Weighing 1500 kg and with a 1.0 m wide and 2.25 m long platform (plus 1.2 m extension), the 80sx will plug a “gap” in the market for compact rough terrain scissors, said High Set managing director Ari Kiiski; “We are sure there is a market, and not just in Scandinavia.” The 80sx will cost around €25000–€30000 and will be available from February.
