It seems you can't escape MP3 players, even when you're 30 m up in the air. Oil & Steel is offering a special hi-tech option of a PC in the cab on its new ‘S' versions of its Eagle truck-mounted platforms. The ‘Livework' system incorporates a mobile phone, radio, camera/video link and GPS system, giving the operator an extra degree of comfort, and the owner/operator the ability to communicate directly with the machine. “It's bringing the technology that we use everyday at work and at home into the platform”, said the company's Simone Scalabrini.
