A mini boom in high–rise construction in Istanbul, Turkey, is providing Alimak with some good hoist contracts. The company's local dealer, Atilla Dural, has already supplied 10 CH20/30 DOL hoists to contractor Tasyapi for the Mashattan residential project comprising 10 towers, each 140 m high. The hoists were installed in September 2005 and the 36–month contract was completed three months ahead of schedule. There are at least five other high rise projects planned for Istanbul, all above 150 m high and including the 200 m high Mecidiyekoy tower awarded to Tasyapi.
