UK access rental veterans Andy Ainsworth and Mark Butler have established a truck mounted platform rental company called Mammoth Platforms that will rent mainly Bronto Skylift machines, including a 90 m model that will be the largest in the UK. Mammoth has already received its first machine, a 46 m Bronto, and the 90 m unit plus three or four other Brontos will follow in early 2007. Both men, who previously worked together at Butler Powered Access before it was sold to PTP Aerial Platforms, are 50/50 partners in the venture and will continue to run their existing businesses: Butler Equipment Sales in the case of Mr Butler and AA Access with Mr Ainsworth.
