Al Faris Equipment Rentals in Dubai, UAE, has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1. The handover ceremony was during the Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany, in April 2013.

The 750 tonne capacity wheeled mobile telescopic crane is the first of its type to be delivered to the Middle East. It will fill the gap in capacity between the company's LTM 1500-8.1 and LTM 11200-9 units.

The all terrain mobile crane has a rated capacity of 750 tonnes at 3 metres radius. It has a telescopic boom which can extend to 52 m and a lattice jib with a maximum length of 91 m. The crane carrier is driven by a 500 kW Liebherr 8-cylinder turbo diesel engine and the crane upper is powered by a 240 kW Liebherr 6-cylinder turbo diesel. Total counterweight is 204 tonnes.

Al Faris Group has also ordered 32 other new Liebherr mobile cranes, including four LTM 1300-6.2, ten LTM 1060-3.1, ten LTM 1130-5.1 and eight LTM 1200-5.1 units. Delivery is planned for 2014.
