Algeco UK appoints managing director

Keith Dorling has been appointed UK managing director of Algeco UK, replacing Trace Norton who took the role on an interim basis last year.

Dorling joins the company after nine years with Wolsely UK, where he recently served as group managing director, plumbing and heating.

Mark Higson, group chief executive officer of Algeco’s parent company Modulaire Group, said Dorling will “lead the next phase of our growth in the UK” and will assume responsibility for modular hire solutions and permanent offsite buildings.

Higson said, “His focus on operational and commercial excellence along with his people-first approach, means that he is well-placed to lead the Algeco UK business and help to deliver our medium-term plan.”

Aside from his roles within Wolsely, Dorling has held several senior leadership positions and has experience across construction, infrastructure and distribution.
