This novel looking mast boom has been developed by JLG's Australian subsidiary and is called the LiftPod. It's a one-person, battery powered lift that will provide a maximum working height of 14 1/2 feet, and will be marketed in Australia by a special division called JLG LiftPod. The unit weighs around 155 pounds and is erected from three components - the base, mast and platform – that each weighs less than 65 pounds. The company gave no indication of when the lift will be available in North America.
