The All group has ordered 15 units of Liebherr's new rough terrain cranes that will make thier debut at the 2017 ConExpo show in the USA.

The LRT 1090-2.1 is a 100-US ton (91 tonne) capacity rough terrain with full power boom. It hass the VarioBase outrigger monitoring system which enables each support to be extended to a different length while automatically delivering support status information to the operator.

Hutton Strader, business development specialist at All, said, “With VarioBase, All can do what used to be impossible. Imagine having the outriggers fully retracted on one side and fully extended on the other, while still having the crane allow for full capacity when it swings to the extended side. The LRT 1090-2.1 can do that.”

The flat deck, electrically extendable cab platform, and multiple ladders are designed to minimise the risk of falls. Controls are intuitive and easy to understand, the manufacturer said. The attachment of the counterweight and installation of the jib are fully monitored by the crane during setup.

The All family of companies is said to be the largest privately held crane rental and sales operation in North America. Thirty-eight branches operate under the All, Central, Dawes and Jeffers names.
